My Story

Tracey Paul is the creative visionary behind Flower-Girl.ca. Her creative flair and interest in art, colour and design likely started as a child when she used to melt down unwrapped crayons in her EasyBake oven to make colourful disks. She used to colour home-made greeting cards using these unique crayon combinations that featured stylized flower designs.

With a keen eye for design trends and details, Tracey used her education and intuition to punctuate her work in the wholesale apparel and home fashion industries, product development, home renovation and lifestyle television shows, along with social media/digital marketing. She has worked with many ‘best in class’ national brands.

Since 2008, Tracey has been hand-designing eco-chic, life-like clay florals using ClayCraft by DECO. This air-dry, archival clay product can be colour matched to any hue. Tracey utilizes her talent in flower-making into sought-after wedding flowers, hair accessories and mixed media home decor pieces.

Canada's first Certified Instructor from The DECO Clay Craft Academy in Hawaii, Tracey has an award-winning and published artist who proudly teaches the art of clay flower making to others on occasion. She has taught workshops, private classes and at private retreats. ‘Make & Take’ floral workshops can be scheduled in (and around) Collingwood/The Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada.
